Our Story

Art has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in New York City, art was everywhere, from the graffiti on Houston Street to the pianist in Washington Square Park. I quickly realized art encompassed so much more than just what was hanging on the wall at the Whitney. With that being said, I still never missed a chance to visit a museum. I would go from room to room getting lost in the different periods imagining what life was like so long ago. Through the years, I grew to see more than just a picture and appreciate the different painting techniques and mediums used to create a masterpiece.

Over time I started to incorporate art into my home to really make it my own. I loved the search for that perfect beach seascape to place over the living room sofa, and the satisfaction I felt when it made the room complete. As I sat there admiring it, the subtle blue paint strokes and light gold texture creating the effect of sunlight reflecting off the sea, I could almost hear the waves. I thought to myself “there has to be a way to blend my love for art and music”. That is when Sound Gallery started to become a reality.
